Preferred Specialty has the Excess Liability and Umbrella insurance products that will provide the additional coverage your South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia risks need.

We represent multiple insurance carriers that offer high limits up to $10,000,000 over approved underlying carriers that are AM Best Rated A-V or better. 

Preferred Specialty has in-house authority for over 600 classes of business including:
  • Construction/Contractors
  • Mercantile
  • Habitational/Real Estate
  • Manufacturers
  • Wholesalers
  • Lessor’s Risk
  • Restaurants
Underlying Requirements:

General liability:

  • $1,000,000 occurrence/$2,000,000 general aggregate
  • $1,000,000 products completed operations aggregate
  • $1,000,000 personal injury & advertising injury (classes where products completed operations aggregate is included in general aggregate is acceptable)

Automobile liability:

  • $1,000,000 combined single limit

Employers liability:

  • $500,000 each accident
  • $500,000 policy limit disease
  • $500,000 each employee disease or individual state statutory limit if greater

Employee benefits:

  • $1,000,000 each employee
  • $1,000,000 aggregate

Hired & non-owned automobile liability:

  • $1,000,000 occurrence
